Semmy Schilt vs Alexey Ignashov

Ignashov, beter bekend als de Red Scorpion neemt het op tegen de nederlander Semmy Schilt. Deze laatste heeft zijn bekendheid vooral te danken aan het winnen van het K1 toernooi in Tokyo (2005). Voor deze wedstrijd gaf hij nog een interview af. Dat kan je terugvinden op deze link, incl foto’s. Ignashov daarentegen draait al jaren mee in het K1-circuit. De goed uit de kluiten gewassen boerenzoon uit Belarus staat bekend om zijn “lazy” verschijning en zijn liefde voor bier. Maar dat zijn sociaal leven wél met zijn wedstrijden te combineren valt, heeft hij reeds meermaals bewezen (bekijk zijn profiel).
